Global Women's Summit 2015 by Tumi FrazierEach year in South Africa, 9 August is designated as National Women’s Day, and the contribution made by women in all aspects of life and society is celebrated throughout the month. During this period, the courage and tenacity of all those brave and committed women who fought for women’s liberation back in 1956 is recognised and honoured. These women created a legacy that today continues to inspire political strength, female solidarity and inner fortitude in new generations of women.

This year, as part of the country’s National Women’s Day celebrations, the Women’s Information Network is presenting 1,000 Global Women’s Summits (2011 – 2018) as part of a massive global women’s initiative. Global Women’s Summits aim to educate women worldwide, and to engage in meaningful discussions about women’s issues, needs, and most importantly action oriented programmes – in every nation.

Global Women’s Summits help women, worldwide, learn how to:

  • Believe in themselves and in their gifts and talents
  • Radiate joy and confidence as they build personal power
  • Monetise their passions/skills as they start/grow their businesses, and then take their businesses global
  • Set and reach high-achievable goals
  • Make money doing what they love
  • Improve their health, nutrition, fitness and beauty
  • Overcome the obstacles in their lives
  • Become leaders in their businesses, communities and nations
  • And much, much more…..

This will be the first Summit of its kind to be organised through the Women’s International Network in South Africa. Global Women’s Summits are already represented in fourteen (14) countries;  the United States, Canada, Brazil, Netherlands, Malaysia, Great Britain, Singapore, New Zealand, Australia, India, Sweden and Finland, amongst others.

Join this powerful and informative event as we share strategies on personal development and how to prosper in your career and business.

Tumi Frazier, South African Event Director, Global Women's Summit, 8 August 2015“We can never be completely free as African women unless we achieve economic freedom; freedom from ignorance, poverty, mediocrity, fear and sense of entitlement. I believe that the future of Africa depends on the generation of entrepreneurs, business owners and self-employment projects that create employment to communities and address persistent social problems such as hunger, education and health care.”
